Terms of Service

Last updated: August 24, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Clirah, an AI-powered phone receptionist service. By creating an account or using Clirah, you agree to these Terms.

This document is a starting point, not legal advice. Please have it reviewed by a qualified professional before relying on it.

1. The service

Clirah answers inbound phone calls on your business’s behalf using AI voice technology, checks appointment availability, books appointments, captures leads, and provides call transcripts and SMS confirmations. Clirah is a tool that assists your business — it is not a substitute for professional advice in regulated industries (e.g. medical, legal), and you remain responsible for how your business operates.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account, and you’re responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. You’re responsible for all activity that happens under your account.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Clirah to:

  • Break the law, or facilitate anyone else breaking the law.
  • Record calls without providing legally required notice or obtaining consent where required.
  • Abuse, overload, or attempt to circumvent rate limits on the service, including the public live demo.
  • Reverse-engineer, resell, or white-label the service without our written permission.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Fees and billing

Clirah is billed at $199/month, which includes 200 calls; additional calls are billed at $1 each. There is no lock-in contract — you may cancel at any time. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.

5. Call recording responsibility

As set out in our Privacy Policy, you are responsible for ensuring your use of Clirah’s call recording and transcription features complies with the laws applicable to your business and your customers, including any required notice or consent.

6. Third-party services

Clirah relies on third-party providers (including OpenAI, SignalWire, and Google) to deliver the service. We are not responsible for outages, errors, or changes made by these providers, though we’ll do our best to minimize disruption.

7. Intellectual property

Clirah and its underlying technology are owned by us. You retain ownership of your business data (call transcripts, contacts, appointments, knowledge base content) — we use it only to provide the service to you.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

Clirah is provided “as is.” We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that the AI will always respond perfectly — real-time voice AI can occasionally misunderstand callers or make mistakes, the same as any receptionist can.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Clirah is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including missed calls, missed bookings, or business losses resulting from an AI error.

10. Termination

You may cancel your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or where required by law.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Clirah after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
